Outside, there’s an above ground swimming pool with its own separate deck. At the rear of the house, there’s a large second-floor deck with an ocean view and a covered ground level patio with a hot tub.
Inside, you’ll find two gas fireplaces, an open concept kitchen and living area, and more views of the Georgia Strait and Vancouver Island.
As though that weren’t enough, you’re a five-minute walk to one of the best beaches on the Sunshine Coast!
Entering though a stately front-door, we first explore the upper level’s open concept living space. There’s a sitting area with the first of two gas fireplaces, and past the eat-in kitchen, there’s a sunroom that overlooks the pool and the yard. A glass door opens to the second-storey deck where we find enough space for a picnic table and a barbeque.
Back inside, we see an eat-in kitchen with stainless steel appliances, an island with granite countertops, and tiled backsplashes. There’s ample counter and storage space.
On our way to the first of four bedrooms, we pass the stairs to the lower level. We’ll explore the ground floor later in the tour.
Bedroom number one is bright and cheery and has a big bay window and its own closet.
Down the hall if the first washroom. The vanity has the same countertops as in the kitchen and the walk-in shower has glass doors and dual showerheads.
Across from the bathroom is a storage room which provides access to the laundry room and the attached garage.
Bedroom number two is a good size. There’s a closet as well as a window that looks to the side yard.
The master bedroom has carpeted floors and a walk-in closet that leads to the ensuite four-piece washroom.
The bedroom’s French doors provide a second access to the deck. In the distance, you see the ocean and Vancouver Island. A little closer to home, you have a bird’s eye view of the backyard.
Heading downstairs, we arrive in a HUGE backyard with nearly a half-acre of lush green grass with more than enough room for the swing set and trampoline.
Looking back at the home, we see the hot tub under the covered patio. Both the deck and the patio are ideal spaces for entertaining.
The rest of the yard is your own private park. There’s tons of room for kids or animals to run and play until their hearts’ content.
To our left is a retaining wall and the separate pool area. In this corner of the yard, we find a mini-orchard with apple, plum, and pear trees as well as raspberries and blueberries. There are three kinds of rose bushes and even five palm trees.
We walk alongside the deck that houses the pool area before returning to the backyard near the patio. A concrete path leads past a flowerbed before returning us to the driveway at the front of the house.
Back inside, we head downstairs to an in-law suite with a walkout basement.
At the bottom of the stairs, we find a storage room next to a large rec room that’s currently being used as a play space.
A short hallway leads us to a self-contained suite that has laminate floors, its own gas fireplace, and sliding glass doors that lead to he patio and yard.
The downstairs four-piece washroom has tiled floors, a large soaker tub, and its own washer and dryer.
The fourth bedroom is big and has laminate floors and its own closet.
The open concept living space is surrounded by windows and glass doors that fill the room with natural light.
The lower level kitchen four stainless steel appliances and white cabinets with tile backsplashes.
