Amazing views from the top of Keats Island!
One of our favourite day hikes on BC's Sunshine Coast
Join Paul and me as we hike up to the lookout point on Keats Island in British Columbia, Canada.
Our journey starts at the Langdale ferry terminal. We’re taking the little passenger ferry across the Shoal Channel to Keats Island.
Once on the island, we leave the government dock on foot and follow a hand drawn map of the route up to the lookout. There’s endless intersecting trails and we keep second guessing if we’re actually on the right path. We find out there’s at least two paths to reach the top of the lookout, one from each end.
The views are beautiful. We see the ocean, the Sunshine Coast, Gibsons, Granthams, Mount Elphinstone, Vancouver Island, and smaller islands to the South.
Enjoy this video!
Thanks for watching,
Val
